Our history begins with our founder, Davis, who was born in a Vietnamese refugee family. Davis started life living in one of the poorest communities in the United States and finished his high school from what was called “ the worst school district in the United States.” He ended up receiving a full scholarship to one of the top colleges in the United States (Yale), graduated, and started at Bain & Company, one of the top management consulting firms in the world.

Besides hard work, Davis credits his success to meeting someone who would create opportunities for him (more details on his bio page and TEDtalk).

Davis wanted to pay it forward and create opportunities for others. With that purpose and objective in mind, he started his personal project to help students while he was working at Bain and other management consulting firms. By sharing his experiences in getting into consulting, he could help others who are less fortunate and don’t have the resources and network to get into one of the most sought-after careers, this was the start of My Consulting Offer (MCO) before we even had a name.

What started as one person’s passion for helping people land their dream jobs has quickly grown into a global team of 7 full-time team members and over 50 part-time coaches and mentors. To date, My Consulting Offer has helped over 500 clients with 85% of our clients land in consulting and it continues to grow.

We operate on 5 continents so you could say that we are a global team that is taking over the consulting world.

Mission

My Consulting Offer (MCO) helps aspiring management consultants get jobs offers in consulting by coaching them to land and pass interviews at firms such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, and other consulting firms.

What drives our mission is that we want to create opportunities and level the playing fields for those who don’t have the same level of access to resources and networks in getting into their dream job of management consulting.

We are a team of former McKinsey, Bain, and BCG Recruiters, Managers, and Consultants. During our time at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG, we read over a combined 300,000 resumes and interviewed over 50,000 candidates. After leaving our firms, we have helped 85% of our clients receive offers from management consulting firms.

What do we value at MCO?

We are a fully-remote company. We don’t have an office! You can be and work from anywhere you want in the world - on a beach in Bali, eating sushi in Japan, or at your home office.
