Accelerated interviews are often reserved only for people who need them. It’s not recommended to try to work around this and get an earlier interview, as this won’t give you as much time to prepare.
Since accelerated interviews are often held in July / August, the bar is also higher since firms don’t want to fill their spots too early that might be better suited to someone later on from the regular campus hiring cycle.
It’s best to only go for the accelerated process if you have a summer internship that gives you an offer which will expire before you have the opportunity to interview on campus. You will reach out to the firm recruiter to learn more about this process.
