How much of a difference does it make going into a one-year master's program and setting you apart from a top firm, compared to if you are applying as an undergrad?
Generally, going into a one-year master’s doesn’t differentiate you much from an undergrad. Many of the firms are open to recruiting students with one-year master’s, but it’s not something that is a must-have.
If you are an undergraduate student and want to get into consulting, we highly encourage you to apply to consulting, since a one-year master’s most likely isn’t going to drastically improve your application.
