If you have an advanced degree, like a JD prior to the MBA, would you recommend to apply versus the experienced hire route versus on-campus recruiting?
For JDs and other advanced degrees, you fall under the advanced degree pipeline where the deadlines are in July.
So if you’re getting a JD or even a PhD or a post-doc, those are the deadlines you’ll want to follow if you’re still in school.
Once you’ve graduated, that’s when you become an experienced hire. Even if let’s say you graduated last month, now that you’re out of school you are considered an experienced hire, and it’s a little bit of a different route.
If you do go the experienced hire route, we highly recommend getting connected and networking with the recruiters to confirm what a good time to apply would be.
