Hiring: Enrollment Specialist

My Consulting Offer (MCO) helps students and recent graduates become management consultants by coaching them to land and pass interviews at firms such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, and other consulting firms – simple as that!

What started as one person’s passion for helping people land their dream jobs has quickly grown into a global team of 5 full-time team members and about 40 part-time coaches and mentors. To date, we have helped over 400 people land in consulting and we continue to grow. We operate on 5 continents so you could say that we are a global team that is taking over the consulting world.

Our team is made up of former consultants and recruiters who spent time at the same firms we help our clients get jobs at. Here is how we do it (our process).

What do we value at MCO?

What does an Enrollment Specialist do?

You are changing lives! Enrollment Specialists are the spokespeople of our business. They are the front line of our organization and often the first point of contact potential clients have with us.

When a potential client schedules a call with our team, the Enrollment Specialist speaks to them to see if there is a strong fit between the potential client’s problems and what we offer. If the Enrollment Specialist feels like we can truly help the client get to where they want to go when it comes to their career, they explain the value of our program on the call, encourage them to join our community, and help to ensure our clients are seeing success once they have enrolled.

From the initial email correspondence to the 30-minute personal enrollment calls, to onboarding a client and thoughtfully pairing them with the right coach on our team, to check-ins as they work with their coaches, Enrollment Specialists share in the success of our clients from Day 1 until they sign their job offer in consulting.

What are the requirements?

What are the requirements?

While asking for the sale is part of being an Enrollment Specialist, this is just one part of the role. No one on our current Enrollment Team had a background in sales prior to joining our team! We are more like “career counselors” rather than salespeople.

To be successful in this role, you need to be a great listener, emphatic, and willing to say “no” to people who aren’t good fits to work with us. Our program isn’t for everyone. This is not a traditional sales role, so there is no cold calling and no hard quotas. Even if someone could be an “easy sale”, if we can’t help them, we don’t enroll them into our program.

How will I be supported?

We have a comprehensive training program and system in place to provide you with the feedback you need to grow in this role. We will not throw you in to swim on your own until you are comfortable and ready to speak with clients.

Where is the office?

The best part – we don’t have an office! You can be and work from anywhere you want in the world – on a beach in Bali, eating sushi in Japan, or at your home office.

How is the pay and what do I get out of this?
